Mountain Kids Summer Day Camp Kindergarten (5yrs) thru 7th Grade
Mountains full of fun! Join us this summer as we rock out with Dog House Music, Climb the walls at Spot Climbing Gym, tumble around in gymnastics, splash at every local pool and explore every kid intended nook’n cranny in Boulder County! All with amazing new friends and our awesome counselors leading the way!
Returning counselors and an encore of all our favorite activities plus simplified payment policies are sure to thrill both you and your camper. Individual attention, age appropriate activities and socialization all work to provide an amazing summer experience for your camper and all the flexibility you need as a parent. Free Before and After Care doesn’t hurt either!
Activities
Our Summer Day Camp is full of action, fun field trips, sports & arts. Gymnastics is offered twice a week (on Wed/Fri) for all campers along with sports and field trips such as: Jungle Quest, WOW Children’s Museum, Pump it Up, Dog House Music, Denver Art Museum, IMAX, Open Swim, Rock Climbing, Tours and more! Weekly swimming lessons are provided for our Jr. Campers as an option under the direction of the Lafayette Recreation Center. We average 4 to 5 field trips a week, please note all field trip fees are now included in your weekly tuition to simplify payment procedures.
Day Camp Staff
Our counselors love kids and love having fun! They provide a positive and friendly atmosphere by focusing on individual attention, positive group interaction and cooperation by maintaining a low camper to counselor ratio (10:1). Many of our camp staff have education degrees and related fields and join the Mountain Kids camp to continue working with kids during the summer. Camp counselors are CPR and first aid certified. Mountain Kids Summer Day Camp has been licensed by the State of Colorado since 1986.
Camp Groups
Campers are divided into Jr. Camp (kindergarten to 3rd Grade) & Sr. Camp (4th Grade to 7th Grade) to facilitate age appropriate activities and social interaction. Our Jr. Campers stay close to home travel only within Boulder County and the nearby areas. Our Sr. Campers have the opportunity to travel to Denver to explore bigger and more age appropriate and challenging field trips to keep them engaged and having fun all summer long!
Hours
Camp activities take place between 9.00 am and 4:00 pm. Children may come as early as 7:30 am and stay as late as 5:45 pm for no additional charge.
Location
Our newly expanded facility offers a great home base for campers to gear up for their daily adventures. Our facility includes a play area for arts and crafts, snacks and meals, a dance studio space and a large fully equipped gymnastics facility which is used not only for gymnastics, but also for games, sports and activities when weather dictates inside play.
Tuition – Includes all activities & field trips for your convenience (field trips occur every day) Minimum enrollment of four weeks for the summer is required. Weeks do NOT need to be consecutive. Choose either full or part time tuition for each week of camp. We offer a 10% sibling discount!
Full Week (4 to 5 days) $230./ week (includes all field trips & activities)
3 days (choose any 3) $180./ week (includes all field trips & activities)
2 day (choose any 2) $138./ week (includes all field trips & activities)
Camper Registration $55./ child (includes Camp T-shirt)
Optional Swimming Lessons – Available for Jr. Campers Only
$75./ session (Eight 30 minute lessons Tues/Thurs ) Session 1: June 5th thru June 28th
